can u sub- to on an FHA?

want to know if you can sub-to on an FHA bc FHAs are supposed to be owner occupied right?

does that ever get the homeowner in trouble? or do they just not pay attention to this like no one pays attention to the issue of taking over the loan?

thanks for your help! -sewa

    sewa,

You must due some research when dealing with FHA loans. Some of these loans use different government subsidized programs that require the house owner to adhere to. Some of these loans have State subsidized programs.

If it states that it must be owner occupied then do not circumvent this. Usually the loan contains a period of time the seller must live in the property.

So know the terms of loan loan before you become involved adhere to the terms the FHA specifies for the house owner.
