Can Longer Afford Home Need To Do A Short Sale

Can anyone help us. We tried to sell outr house in has been on the market for over 90 days. We had to take it off the market because we can no longer afford the commisions. We took out a line of equity to supplement the morgage but that has now depleted. To rent it would only cover half the morgage that is owed. We need to "Short Sale" immediately before our credit is ruined. We are current with our payments only because of the equity line, but that is gone. Can anyone help us? If we havent missed a payment can we still Short Sale?

First, you should be well informed with regard to your options and alternatives. Start with the basics. Check out the HUD website, or www.SPOCH.org, another non profit housing help website.
