Can Anyone Suggest A Good Book/guide To Investing In Tax Liens?

I was at Borders and saw just about every book you can name on investiing in real estate, but no books specifically on the do's and don't of acquiring Tax Lien properties.

Do you know of any good books/guides that outlines the steps, language, laws, pitfalls of investing in this area of real estate?

I cannot more highly recommend the best book in my opinion in the market for you. It is the Comprehensive Guide to Tax Sales by John LAne on his website http://www.taxsalelists.com. it gives you all the information from the novice level and makes you an expert after you finish the manual. It's also very easy reading and complete. Good luck!

most book are very general, i think it is best to find a local person (it a group thing at the tax sale same people just about every year) of a local smart real
estate lawyer to explain the local
legal thing. we have a lawyer in our group that puts this money in the group
and does the legal work on clearing the title at no cost. we do all the property
inspections . ( a try to the county collector 180 days before the to ask some question will help)
