Can A Corporation Be A Consumer?

By definition of law, can a consumer be a corporation? Specifically according to the Code of Alabama.

Thanks!

Thanks, I have a corporation. I'm asking if the consumer laws apply to a corporation as a consumer.

If you mean consumer protection laws, such as the required disclosures when buying a home, or financing a car, or the interest rate to be paid on a personal loan, I'd say generally no, they don't apply to a corp.

But a "consumer" is anyone, including a corp or LLC or gov. entity, that buys something.

So your question's too broad to get you a very helpful answer.

Normal rule on these forums is, if no info given in question, no help is received in answer.

A person, firm, corporation, association, or governmental department, whether owner or tenant,
Who buys goods or services and uses them personally or business use instead of selling them.

So the answer is yes a corporation is considered a consumer see Black’s Law Dictionary
