Called Some Investors

hi, everyone,
I called a few investors today looking to get started with leads. No one seemed interested. Should I just proceed and go ahead and find valid leads and just present them for a fee??

put a add in the paper stating in short what you have. they must be "good deals." if you present good deals you will get investors. you have to be persistant and offer a good product.........km

    Hi Kenmax,

I am just getting started at this. I have not screened any properties as of yet. I am Still working up the nerve to make a cold call. So I have no deals as of yet. but when I do have a deal lined up, I would also like to have an investor to present it to.

    thanks

No one seemed interested in what? What you should be doing is finding out what type of property they prefer to invest in, and how much spread it normally takes to get them interested, and not if they are interested in working with you. Working with you implies that you want someone to hold your hand. In essence, spending time and energy training you with no guarantee of results.
Once you find out what properties they are interested in, then you go out and find those properties and get them under contract. Then you call the investors when you have the lead in hand. you'll be amazed how fast they will jump at the opportunity to work with you once you prove that you can produce.

    Jeff
