California-Equity Purchase Agreement
Does anyone know where I can get an equity purchase agreement? The law here in California says we have to have a special agreement and since I'm a newbie working on my first deal I don't have a clue where to get this form. Can someone HELP!!! I need to close fast because sale date is fast approaching.
What law? You can do it on a napkin. Go to your local Escrow/Title Co. They will help you with your instructions (for a fee)
Civil Code Section 1695-1695.17 From my understanding if the purchase is not contracted correctly if the seller decided that you took advantage of them they could sue to get their house back.
