Is it difficult to purchase properties from REDC and do they really have the good deals like they claim? If someone has dealt with them could you pass on your experience and let us know if it was worth it. Thanks
I personally have not been to one of their auctions....but 2 of my friends have. I was part of their conversation when they were comparing observations.
Their opinions, which I highly value, are that prices are run up by shills. Properties were run thru 3 or 4 times, until an acceptable (to the bank) figure was reached. And, since financing is offerred, you are competing with your own future customers!
With that in mind, I have not attended one of their auctions. If you do attend, how about reporting your experience?
REDC has lots of auctions out here in Las Vegas. Like the above posts mentioned, there are not really good deals at the auction. You are better off contacting the banks yourself. Everyone thinks you can get the best deals at auction... well, everyone who doesnt really know how to find good deals. REDC auctions are overhyped scams.
Call the local Realtor/MLS association and express your concerns. It is possibly a violation of the MLS rules. It would be here. You cannot show a property until it is actually in our MLS system as active.

So, are you saying all the homes will be sold at auction or plenty will be back on the market?
