Dye Estates At Barefoot Resort Myrtle Beach, SC

A group of us are looking at this property to develop. I'm not from the area and am looking for someone who knows the area and will comment on this property. Thanks!

Its been quite a while since I visisted myrtle beach, so most of what I know might be outdated. There was a heavy miltiary presence there as well as seasonal tourism. When it was in season the place was mobbed, out of season military kept the locals open. There were a lot of businesses that would shut down out of tourist season, so you may want to keep reserve monies high to accomodate the slowdown.

    Good Luck,
    Kyle

Thanks, Kyle, for your insights. I've only been involved in projects close to home, so I'm being cautious and asking a lot of questions.

I own a condo in the area. I live in Ohio. It is very seasonal. March to October is good for rental then it reall dies off. The military no longer have a base in Myrtle Beach. As said above, most of the places mothball for the winter.
