Concrete Slab Foundation Question
My husband and I our purchase our first home. We decided to buy a new home from a builder. When we put up the earnest money for the home we also paid for an upgrade in the master bathroom. Instead of a plain tub we upgraded to a jet spa tub. The contractor was in a hurry to build the home due to scheduling. Also, there was a lack of communication between the contractor and builder. So, the contractor built the bath w/the standard tub. We were very upset when we saw the scene. They reassured us that they would fix it. We ask several times if they would have to dig into the foundation b/c we did not want that. They said no. Yesterday, to our dismay there was a hole in the foundation. They had to dig to move the pipes. What does this mean? How will this effect the house?
