Boarded Beauty -- How Can I Track It?

Saw a boarded up attached home out here in Queens, and I want to find the status of the property aka who owns it. Where do I start, who do I call to find where the property tax bills are being sent? Thanks.
search on the internet for whatever county the property is located in.. and look for the county tax collectors web site.. search the address in the records and it should help you out..
