The Robert Allen Institute?
hello!
my fiance & I are new to REI and just yesterday attended a Robert Allen Institute Real Estate Seminar. Being very conscious minded, we've decided to do some research b4 forking out the $2,995 for the tuition. Is there anyone who has any info regarding his programs (pro & con) & if it's worth it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
:-D
Do a Google search for Robert Allen, and you'll find much information out there. Mostly bad I think, but I'm sure there's people that have had good luck with it. I would spend much time reading on here, going to the library and getting books, before I would cough up that kinda cash, personally. If after you've spent time studying yourself, if you feel you then need some sort of kick in the pants to get started, then go take a guru's class.
My wife and I attended the "big" seminar last June. We both came away frustrated with the lack of depth of the subject matter. Being fair, each seminar is hosted by different REI investors, so my experience may be different than the one that you may have. We felt like the seminar was a shot gun blast approach to REI to let us know of the different ways that you could get started. It was a big price tag to pay for what we got out of it. If we had to do it over again, we would not do it. Like the other posting said, check out the internet for remarks, I wish I had. But, you are going down the right road, REI has been great for our family. Keep going!
