Short Hiatus For Reserve Building
I just finished my first deal and after I get someone in the property I am going to take a Hiatus until I get back from Iraq. In the mean time does anyone know of any good legit ways to make some money to put away? I want atleast 20k by next June. No MLM or get rich quick schemes just something you have done on the side to build a cash reserve. I like sub to but I really don't want to be a landlord. No offense John by no means you are a great guy and you have influenced me more than you may think. I really want to rehab properties though. I want to start when I get back.

No offense taken, but I have never considered myself a landlord as I find a buyer for the property, then they are responsible for the home. The buyers cash me out in two years, so just the way I like it.
You followed the program and did a deal, so your feet are wet, "re-habs", you will be back on the team for sure.
Well if I remember correctly, but it has been awhile, do they still do the $10 for $15 close to payday in the Corps. This has always been a real money maker.
Take care over there and check in with your team members when you get back or while you are there.

I appreciate everything you have done for me John really do. I just feel that when I get them into the home it is really my responsibility to make sure the payments are made on time. I can't negetively effect them if they don't. Thats getting into a whole lot. I will give you a call tomorrow evening and discuss more maybe we haven't covered this one in too much detail. I love the sub to method for those of you that are reading I just wish I had a little bit more cash in the bank. Johns Manual and words of wisdom are a very good source of knowledge and encouragment.
