REI

When I first got interested in REI, I got licensed here in Fla, then did nothing with the license, having realized I could re-educate myself and basically do the same thing on my own without the license. So, the next year, I went and bought or borrowed from the library as many books on real estate as I could find, talked to as many people as I could--in RE offices, banks, mortgage companies, insurance cos, title cos--and so on until I became familiar with the terminology/semantics of REI.

The RE licensing book cost me $25, the advice from all those in my support system cost nothing, and the knowledge and increased creativity I earned from doing it on my own, regardless of what the "man" thought, is priceless. It takes courage and faith to get going, but once you're rolling there's no stopping to consider whether you're rich or poor. Like the man said, "whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right!"

Just keep your goal in your sights and never quit.
