Real Estate License - Does It Help?
I was thinking of getting my real estate license and selling to suppliment my income. I could also save commission on properties that I buy and sell. Has anyone else done this and is it worth it?

My sister is getting her license and we will be doing deals together, it certainly won't hurt, but it's not neccessary to successful in this business.
I understand the frustration that comes with looking for a REA that understand Creative REI, so I say if you can, go for it.
You can probably be an agent for investors, since many of us experience the same frustrations as you do when dealing with Realtors.

One drawback I know of is that when dealing with a seller, you are required to tell them you are a Real Estate Agent. Some sellers, when told this, tuck and runnnnn......
