Probate Sale?
Hello. I am new to REI and have a question. I found a Single Family Home near where I live that is very underpriced. However, the listing says that it is a probate sale and that all closing costs, taxes, etc. are to be paid by the buyer. The listing agent is asking for offers to be presented by mid-June. The house needs some fixing up but for the list price I am more than willing to hire a contractor. Does anyone have experience with a probate sale? What can I expect in terms of bidding and offers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
