Newbie SoCal And Florida

Hey all, I am a young successful entrepeneur currently in Southern California and looking to head to South Florida real soon. Ive been very excited about getting into the real estate business as an investor. I would like to begin a real estate investment firm buying, selling, and creating income streams from rentals.

I am just looking for as much information as possible, this is one field that is so complex and changes all the time so i want to learn!! Any advice especially on Florida markets would be really helpful.

I was thinking about getting a real estate license just to learn the Florida laws, good idea? Thanks for your input!

What are some of the questions you have on Florida Real estate?

Hi there, a few questions are for the buy/appreciate/sell method which is the best form of corporation to use in Florida, mainly Broward County?

Also, would Florida be considered a good state to buy real estate in? Strictly from a tax standpoint, are they favorable to investors?

    Thanks for your comments.

Hello and thanks for the reply. I really want to begin a firm for propert investment in Southern Florida. I know I can do it as an individual, but of course I am looking to get the most amount of tax breaks, limited liability, and asset protection I can get.

Not to mention I can establish business credit and have the professional appeal of a corporation...right??

Thank you for your response Mr. Hidgon. There is way too much info on the subject, it all seems to be contradictory.

There is no state tax so that is a big plus!
