New Year Thoughts!!
As we approach the New Year,it may spell different goals and different dreams of how the New year should be for you.Some of you may decide that you want to increase your income Stream by a few thousands a month a few others may want to plunge into the real estate investing and for a few others probably consolidate on what they have bought and so on...
The point Iam trying to make is,even though we are varied in our requirements we are united in the goal of investing In real estate and investing on ourself,our family and kids and working for yourself...
While we go about our task of trying to/achieving our goals over the New Year..I hope this thread is also motivational for people who have just started or who are in the process of making their first baby steps into the world of Real Estate Investing..That believing in yourself and working hard on your goals in a systemetic way,coupled with a lot of reading and asking the right questions and just about going out and trying out,in sensible manner can make things happen...All those in self doubt of how this can happen,wake up and believe yourself...some of the experienced investors here will agree that most of them started with little or no money but found a niche and success by working hard in a methodical way and investing....
My thoughts process was triggered by a wonderful book I read today Rich Dad's Prophecy...The book is excellent and motivational..and talks of how we should take control of what we want to do..and work for ourself....
You are the captain of your own ship....how you navigate is upto you..but you are the captain of your OWN ship and thats the point of the whole learning and investing process we are going through!!!!
Make educated decisions..but do go out and try what you learn but again the key is make it educated decisions and not groping in the dark...
I hope Iam not rambling much....but hope this thread contributes in some way to alteast a few out there nervous and in self doubt....
But I would be happy if there are contributors on this thread on how they want to make a difference this New Year!!! I welcome the thoughtful ones and the funny ones..

Nice post. If you want something to happen, whatever it is, you have to MAKE it happen, it does not happen all by itself!
Whatever we learn is useless unless we apply our knowledge, this is valid for everything.
Having a positive prophecy is half the way; expect the positive and it will happen. Having an optimistic mind makes taking the hurdles less traumatic.

As a student pilot, my instructor once told me to "fly the plane, don't let the plane fly you". He didn't realize it, but that is also a good attitude about life in general...don't LET things happen, MAKE things happen. Thanks for sharing your evident motivation! Happy New Year!
