New Here.
I was actually doing some research on Russ Dalbey's program and tumbled across this site. I have been trying to find a good real estate program for the past month, but when I try and research them, find really ugly reviews and basically find out, all these "gurus" are trying nothing more than to sell a more expensive seminar or stuff.
So, what is this site all about? Do I have to pay a lot to get my info on real estate investment? I am 24 and basically don't have much cash on me right now. But I do have a steady income. I want to do something part time( for the time being) for some extra cash. Is real estate thingy for me? I am ready to learn and do the hard work.
help! :-(
Hey Nusrat2004-
What is this site all about?? Is this Real Estate thingy for me?
You are in the correct forum. As has been written before, start in the Beginners Forum and read and study every posting. Once you have finished the Beginners Forum, you may have an idea of the RE area you are interested in. If you do, go to that forum and read everything.
If you haven't an idea what might interest you, pick another Forum and read it all. Keep that up until you find an RE area that interests you. Go to your local Borders and find a book(s) on the subject. Read it.
While you are reading the Forum(s) and book(s), find your local Real Estate Investor's Association. Attend a meeting and talk to all who will talk to you. Explain who you are. Ask them questions. Pick their brain. If that club doesn't suit or impress you, find another. Eventually you will find one near you that is worth your time.
What I am trying to say is we can't advise you whether or not RE is for you. You have to decide that for yourself. All we can say is it's fun and can be good for your wallet.
GOOD LUCK!!

Try looking into birddogging. Very passive and won't cost you alot of money to get started. You can learn and get paid for doing it.
