NC Duplex Financing Question!
Help! I am buying a duplex to remodel, live in one side, rent out the other, and use the rehabilitation profit to finance another duplex or small apartment building. My credit score isn't high enough to qualify for a loan, and I'm self-employed. How do I find a Private Investor to partner with on this important first purchase?
I you have 10% to put down, ther are lenders who will get you in.
If you really need an investor/partner then you will have to appeal to their greed make it good foe them and they will come on board. TRy the local RE club

Could you explain your strategy in a little more detail? If you are occupying one unit and renting out the other, where is your "rehabilitation profit " coming from?
What am I missing?
