Buying Land
What do some of you investors look for when your buying land that you want to keep for the next 5-10 years as a long term investment?
I've seen different types of land - ag, res, estate, commercial etc. but need a better understanding to what specifics I should look for that would probably give me an idea of the appreciation over the next 10 years.
Any pointers? Something that would put you one notch ahead of the seller or broker who set the original price? Any special places or ways to find dirt cheap property?
To give you an idea - I'm looking for property that would be around 200,000 for 10+ acres of some type of land.
