Bird-Dogging question

So I went to an REI meeting yesterday and announced my services to everyone with contact info and website.

Anyway, I have received excellent returns already on this action and it has only been one day.

One guy emailed me and ask could he be an assistant. He wants to be an RE investor, but wants to begin bird-dogging.

Any suggestions on how I could incorporate this guy or should I stay solo?

Just looking for some feedback.

The one and only,

    furiousinc,

If you want to train your own competition, then invite him to the party.

You have developed a web site, plus spent time getting ready to 'Fetch', why would you need this person?

People contract others because they need assistance with their endeavors, because they are too busy to handle everything. Thus you are Bird Dogging and helping investors by finding deals.

Some get with other people so that everyone can stand around holding each others hands, because no one has any self confidence, in essence nothing gets done.

Freddie, I know you can be a stand alone Bird Dogger, make the Big Bucks yourself, when you are so busy you need help, then and only then think about working with someone else besides an investor.

    Johns Right,
I have more investors than properties and if I were to let someone else in on it, I loose profit.

Whats really funny is I have been taking the good deals and making $500 a pop on the ones I don't want, but with that I still can't feed all the investors that don't want to do anything except ask me how I'm finding my properties.

I think They want to join to see how it works and that a NO-NO..

    Good advise......

    Thanks John and Askasalesrep,

I had a mental breakdown for a minute. I don't know why I even considered it. Actually, I was so into other thoughts for the day, when I received the email I didn't have time to mull it over, so I set the post up to get feedback.

Well the results are in, this is a bad idea.

    Thanks
