Billboards

Hello,

Is there someone who invests in Billboards?

I would like to know how to begin.

Do you know a good billboard fabricator I could contact that has the best prices?

I sure would apprecate the help.

Joe

    Joe,
I've looked into it. It's a near monopoly in this area, Norton and 1 other company...They lease the land from other people, build and rent... Looks very lucritive (you barely see any empty billboards), but difficlut to get into...

You are right owning the land billboards are on is highly profitable. I own 5 sites on interstates near Birmingham,Al. Lamar pays very well for the use of these sites. Another lucrative use is cell towers which can be erected on the same site.

How much do these companies pay to use a billboard? Z

Thanks to you both. I really would like to build and own the billboard itself as a business. Any Ideas on how to get started?

Any books or tapes on it?

Ive also looked into it. When I looked into it I found that a lot of cities wont let you put anymore of them up. The ones up already have been grandfathered in. Im not saying you cant do it, just check your cities codes first.
