Best Way To Reduce Utilities Expenses
If the unit has owner pay all utilities, which is the best area to reduce expenses first? Probably the biggest expense of course. Tax could be number 1 insurance could be number 2 mortgage is also on top but what utilities and what ways are best? Heat, Electric, Water,? as I write this it looks like heat is probably the biggest expense in Upstate NY. My guess insulate attic if not already, maybe more efficent burner for heaters (2 in this building both over 30 yrs) 3 gas meters?

Solar hot water heating is always cost effective, and with Federal (and State?) tax rebates, anyone responsible for utilities, be it in a residence or commercial building, would be foolish not to use it.
