Beginner Mobile Investor
I have an opportunity to purchase trailer homes for 1/10th of their value. I wasn't planning on investing but this deal fell into my lap. Beginner questions: Can a trailer be moved state to state for sale?? How much does moving a trailer cost? Is there any websites or leads to dealers that will buy the trailers off me? I'm just looking for a flip deal. Any licences/permits I need? Otherwise, I'm inclined to go to the yellow pages and start phoning! Any advice will help.

Not may Dealers as far as Dealerships with buy them if any at all. Most have to many they want to get rid of or dont know what they will do with them.
Ok let me see if I can help you with the other questions.
Moving them from state to state can be done, with certain homes and depends what state and from what state.
In some states there is what is called an impact fee you can get hit with as much as 4k.
Other states you have restrictions as to what the age of the homes are. For instance in GA some areas you cant bring a home in over 10 years old.
There is a market though, I know because I buy them all over the country ..from Oklahoma to NC and all between.

I am finding more doors open for me with Mobile Homes I have ever seen.

Just note; We are dealing mostly now in homes from 95 to 2001 and up.
