Beginner Forum Gone?

  Here are the reasons.
  1. Keep down on having moderators having to move the topics to a different forum.
  2. Makes users choose which REI field they want to participate in and interact with the big time gurus.
  3. People were posting in the beginners forum just because it received the most posts not because it was a beginners topic.
  4. We still have the BirdDoggers forum where the beginners should hang out.[ Edited by joel on Date 10/20/2003 ]

  The problem with the beginners forum is that 90% of the questions that were asked were asked over and over. The other 10% of the questions that were asked, were also asked in other forums.
  
  I think if you use the Advanced Search Tool you will be able to find what your looking for even if it wasn't in the Beginners Forum to start with.
  
  We have more than 102,000 pages here, I think you will be able to find what your looking for.
