BE CAREFUL...Investor Hud Bids
HUD apparently has gone negative on investors...the old rules on bailing out on a property if it was misrepresented or even if you cannot get financing are no longer grounds for getting your earnest money back...of course, for owner accupants it is ok...so bidding in the blind can cost you...make sure you lay eyes on the property and inspect it thoroughly because they now have a zero tolerance with investors...sadly, i suppose we are the bad guys again
This is nothing new. I first learned of this policy for investors back in 1995.
