Attorney Or Title Company

Hi,

For real estate investors working in flipping houses, is it important to hire an attorney to do the paper work or is a Title company the right entity for closing?

Here in California most of us use title companies.

    Hello Darryle,
I am looking into doing my first deals soon.... So, should I go ahead and use a title company then. I found a title company here in Orange County, CA that does simultaneous closings. I have not done my first deal yet, so would they know exactly what to do? Hope to hear from you soon.

I like to use a attorney. That way if something comes up they can handle it quickly and they will usually write a letter for you at little or no cost. They are usually around the same price as a tile company

You mentioned that the seller conveyed title to you, but did you give consideration?
