Asking About A "Guru"

I was wondering where I (what forum) would post a question about a so called mentor?

I would like to find out if anyone here has taken any of his courses, been through his mentorship, etc.

Thank you

This website is THE BEST investor site, I have found so far. The information and contacts I have gotten here are priceless.
Yea, I am bummed I cant check my messages until I pay for the subscription (a gift on my christmas list)...but who cares! I can post and read for free, and that is really what matters most. Thanks TCI and a bigger thanks to all the people who participate.

I am an honest, legit user. However, such a basic thing as searching the forums is restricted. Why?

New members/visitors should not have to go through a "hazing" period as you call it.

I have no problem paying for good, useful information...especially if it saves me time or money.
However, when everything is restricted and sends me to an ACCESS DENIED page on basically every link I click it makes me wonder.

Look at it from a new visitor viewpoint.

We also set up our forum rules so that people can get an unbiased opinion. If somebody said "Hey use Joe Shmoe" and their name was Joe Shmoe, it would obviously be biased.

But when you have un-biased opinions on what you should do in a particular circumstance, it helps a lot.

I kinda believe that unbiased opinions are worth the most. That also goes for flattering opinions.

We have had plenty of Channel Partners say, if you promote me, I will promote TheCreativeInvestor/PropBot.com. This is kinda saying ONLY if you promote me, I will promote you.

I would rather have them say our services are good no matter whether they are getting a dollar from us or not.

Joel runs a great site here. He actually cares about what is being posted, which benefits the investors like me, and even newbies from predatory lenders and realtors and whoever else has something to spam and scam.

We have changed the Private Messaging, so that even free users can receive and send Private Messages.

Users just need to pay if they send more than 5 per month.

People will pay 3k for some stupid seminar/package that doesnt teach squat compared to the free info on this site.

I am definetly getting the subscription for X-mas (the first thing on my list!)...that is why I havent got it yet, I know my brother is planning to get it for me.

KISS by not having many posts?

Hazing for new members is necessary. Otherwise this place would fill up with so much spam and BS it would be crazy...

"Out of curiousity, how many posts do I have to have under my belt before someone can post a link?"

In theory, 60 posts, but it seems like people are able to do it sooner than that- keep trying!

I am a paid member and I cannot do searches. I have sent several complaints about this but no one has ever responded. Definitely do not plan to renew.
