Its 8:45 EST. I see 380 people online already. I could understand why this site is slow. I notice the slowdown when this site hits about 250 people online. I am curious on how fast is their web server is and memory usage, processor speed, bandwidth etc....
You’re right, this is without a doubt one of the worst sites I’ve ever seen when it comes to speed. And there are plenty of sites out there that have far more traffic than this one!
At least half the time I want to come here, and I can’t because it won’t even load the pages…and it’s not because of my connection. It makes you wonder how many people never even bother to signup… because they can’t.
My guess is it’s all due to a pathetically slow server. In fact, this is the fourth time I’ve tried to respond to this post, because it never loaded the other times!!!

Sorry guys. It is the amount of properties we are dealing with now.
We used to have 2000 properties in our database. Now it is over 364,000+
Needless to say, we are going through growing pains at the current moment.
Keep in mind we will be trying to do most of the data crunching during evening times, but some of the property feeds we are bringing in, require us to process their entire list of properties.
We have pretty much unlimited bandwidth. The problem we have been having is really due to the amount of properties we are bringing into our database now on www.PropBot.com

Well I can see I am partly to blame, I forgot to send Joel the power to be on this site his Summer Pocket Protector.

How is the speed now?
The site is running on 5 servers now.
