I know somebody who sells the Subject to Manual!

    John $Cash$ Locke!, that's who!

Just order your manual from him, nice and new and shiny! He'll give you his e-mail address and cell phone number for whenever you need help, and he answers it himself!

It will be the best investment you'll make in REI!

    Latundin,

    I'll sell you my mannual.
(when you pry it from my dead cold fingers)

I am trying not to call you a douche bag online because this is a great place and I dont want to disrespect Joel, you, or anyone else here, so I wont.

Not only is John's book well worth the $$$
The private website you get to go to is just for sub-2 investors. I bet you the $149.00 you couldnt ask a sub-to question that couldnt be answered on that web-site.

I respect you for trying to save a few $$$ or like me I want to know if these books are any good before I shell out the big bucks, but like I said above, that web-site is worth the $

( I didnt mention that you also get his cell phone number that he actually answer. ( not some paid sales rep))

    Its cool.

    Good Luck,
    Jason

Is John Locke's book still available? I do not see it listed in the books section of this web site.

Also, have any of you who like his Subject To book, read his book on bird dogging? I would be curious to hear how you would compare the two, with respect to the quality of each.

    Thanks,

Please.....Buy the book from John himself. First, you won't find many who would sell their version because (1) we have tremendous amount of respect for John and (2) the content is extremely valuable. Also, this site runs only because of teh business transactions supported by guys like John via Joel. Also, Check out Icabod's post on John's book as well.

I , similiar to jasontugz, won't call you a DB, just understand that book is worth the money. And if you are not willing to pay $160 to get started, you may not be right for this business.

With all that said, buy the book and join the Locke fan club. You won't regret it (and if you really want an inside track, go to John's seminar in LV. It'll knock your socks off....)

To answer your questions, yes both the birddog and sub2 manual can be had from this site.
Go to the top of this site and click on the "shops" tab.
Then click on shop by author.
    Then click on John Locke.

Both products were well worth the money to me.
Follow the steps in the sub2 manual.
Because you can't put everything related to sub2 in his manual or else it might be about 800 pages long you will have access to him by phone or email as well as access to his sub2 forum.

thank you for all your replies, sorry that i offended some of you for trying to buy your used manual, just trying to save some bucks here. i think with all your response that john's manual is really a pretty good one, so i think i'll get that. can someone tell me if his manual comes with the forms and contracts necessary for a deal? thanks

  • peoria22nd August, 2003

Yes they do have the forms. Pretty mcuh everything you will need to get started is included in the sub2 manual.

The rest will be up to you!

Ha ha...John, do you upay these guys? I guess I'll have to buy it!

  • JohnLocke27th August, 2003

    gold,

    Glad to meet you.

I did not give them anything except how to make money in creative real estate investing. Just appreciative students telling it like it is.

I thank them for their kind words.

    Hi All!

(John, please don't take this as a sign of disrespect, but I'm going to ask the same question of the general TCI audience that I recently asked you in a private message. Thank you for your prompt reply to that message, by the way!)

    QUESTION:
Can a person learn enough to do sub2 deals from the $160 John Locke sub2 manual? If so, what would one gain from taking his $999 tele-class, or the LV seminar?

(BTW, John, when and how much is the live LV seminar? I think I would much prefer to do that than the tele-thingy.)

    Thanks in advance for feedback!

    Take care,

    Kevin

    Kevin,

There are certainly many of my students who have the manual only and are doing deals. As you know I offer lifetime email so you can email me and ask questions and over a period of time you will be brought up to date. The support is there when you need it.

I have three products my Bird Dog Ebook my Subject To manual and either a Workshop or On Line Class. That is it, no diamond, gold or platinum classes after that, no up sales from there in other words.

I do workshops when the urge is there to do them and then I limit them to 5 people, here is what I have found some people just cannot get away for a weekend workshop, so this is the reason for the online class, you can take the lessons weekly at your own pace.

The workshop or line class is designed to bring you up to speed quickly in your investing carreer, you will notice I have not posted any further LV workshops not because of the online class, just because the urge has not hit me to do one.

Sometimes instead of answering a students email I will call them and answer their questions, this is done normally when I believe they need additional assistance. Look at the online class as a private call from me to answer just about every question you could possible think of. If I don't cover it in the class then it must be one like, "how many people can you fit in a volkswagen beetlle."

    John $Cash$ Locke
