    There should be a website where you can make such a change. Ask the previous owner to set up a profile with username and password and then change the password once the owner is done. Then you can access the account and submit necessary changes.

    Be sure to have your POA handy in case anyone raises questions.

    We always call in and request the change... We call on behalf of the borrowers and the lenders request us to fax a copy of the authorization to speak to them. its is not difficult to do...

    Isnt it unbelievable that these sellers dont have any docs. I come across it all the time as well.

    I usually just send in a letter with the first payment that i make. I have it signed by the sellers stating that i am trustee and that i will be managing the affairs of there property and that all bills and correspondence should be sent to me at my address.

    I have never had a problem doing it this way. Next bill is usually sent to me (if they want to get paid)
