Any One Heard Of Nevou Riche

Hello everyone!!! I am wondering if any of you have tried or heard of a program called Nevou Riche. Whenever I go to my REI club they try to get me to buy the program and its making me wonder. The program is very expensive but promises profit buy giving its users emails of tied up homes with tons of equity. All of the program steps cost around $15,000. Anyone have any stories they can tell me.

    Nevou Riche,

Dear Jasmine, love the play on words. Do me a favor find out everything you can from your REI club, especialy who it is that wants you to buy and what do they get for agenting the deal? Then having learned, cut around and go direct. Get all of their stuff and download it here. Between Nancy and John of Locke and the rest of the highly qualified it will be exposed. Just the amount required, $15,000 is evidence that a scam is there. Somewhere. The pattern is familiar but the name is clever and should in your area have great appeal.

    Cheers, I await your posting.

It is spelled Noveau Riche "the new rich", and it is an MLM that is driven by selling books and tapes - find a different real estate investment group if you can.

Lufos is correct, $15k is ridiculous. MLM is fine as a business model, but not in this industry.

Avoid these people. Have one of them show you a deal they did from one of those hot email leads. Have them show you the profit, the mechanics, the way it goes down.

Blow these people off, is all I can say. Learn from people doing deals not selling books and tapes AND making money off of others selling books and tapes.

    Lucius,

It sounds as if this "Nouveau Riche" program is well named by its creators saying "Buy this and make me rich."

Take your $15,000 and use it as a downstroke on a building someplace.

    Sure they are.

I am sure the money flow out of someones pocket does not stop with "if you believe the Forum is what you may be looking for."

Since this is not a creative investing site you have asked people to look at, they must be looking for money investors for the properties they just happen to find or fund, I see that ole Bob is a broker by the way.

John, perhaps you are right, perhaps not. Either way, I spoke with this guy a while back, he sounded for real, but better to err on side of safety - I retract that suggestion.

At the very least, Michael Morrongiello I KNOW FOR A FACT runs an investment group in Bay Area, so to the original poster, look into real estate investment groups in your area, and check on this site.

Thank you everyone for the comments. I really enjoyed the link above!! I will be more cautious when I attend the next meeting. If they talk about NR again I will ask them to share some of the "secrets" they have learned in the program. I'll also ask them to show me a deal that the have recieved. I already know that I will have to find REI club because I belive that this one was set up just for ****Must Reach Freshman Investor status before posting URL's***hanks again!!

I originally wrote the Nouveau Riche review (link is above) as a forum post. I told people that this group is quite big in Utah and Arizona, and that the rest of the country would be hearing from them soon. Sounds like they're getting dug in in California now. It's only a matter of time before the rest of you meet them. They're destined to be the next Amway in the real estate world, which is great if you're an owner or had the opportunity to get in early (...as I did, but I didn't feel it was an ethical company), but most people will either spend $15K and then sit there scratching their head wondering how to do RE, or they'll spend 15K, learn RE from other sources, and then realize that they got a lot of fluff for their money.

My advice is RUN RUN RUN. Nouveau Riche is the devil 8-) Anyways, glad we could help heighten some awareness.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Let see whose comments are to be taken seriously. Yours with no standing or some of the people above who are serious investors about some lame RE MLM scam? I guess suckers are born every minute.

Nouveau Riche is a very upstanding company. The owners are ethical and have found a way to help un-knowledgeable investors on how to really make it in the real estate investment arena. Un like other courses there is ongoing support. I personally made my investment back plus alot more in my first month. These idiots giving advice really shouldn't talk about something they have no actual knowledge about.

Everybody run!!! They're here in Austin, too. You're right, Hibby -- they'll be everywhere soon. I'm sorry, adrianvashon, scam or no scam... if someone really wants to help me, they're not going to charge me nearly what some people make in a year before they do so! $15k??? OOUCH!! I know, there are lots of 'em out there, too!

    Jasmine,

Which REI group is that? I've heard some really good things about the REI groups in the San Francisco area from the investors hear in Sacramento and none of them are trying to sell and MLM product.

    adrianvashon...
mentioned that you made your investment back in the first month. I'm intersted to know 1. how much was your initial investment, and 2. did you make it back through real estate or by selling Nouveau Riche to another person???

If it was through RE, I'd like to know more about the deal. Thanks.

    general1 ...
You're in with just $100. As I understand it that gives you the right to sell NR to other people, but does not buy you any of the NR products, seminars, or support system. For $100 you can sell the stuff, right??? If you're getting the NR products then you're probably doing so through unconventional channels. Your thoughts?

The people that are making $1-3K per day....How much are they making per day in Real estate??? There are photocopy, airplane, lumber salesmen that do the same. The fact is that they're making their money in sales, not in Real estate. Nouveau Riche promises to help people make money in Real estate, but most make it selling NR and hardly touch RE. The NR people that I know that have real estate buy FMV deals with 25% down payments. That doesn't take a guiness, just some money.

I'm not trying to be a skeptic, but it just seems that every story I hear supports the things that I have written previously. I hope that NR becomes a company that makes a lot of people rich through buying, owning, and selling RE. So far it's just a company that makes people rich from selling Nouveau Riche. BTW, I understand that Cheri Tree (yes that's her name) who is one of the founders admits in small circles that one of the problems with NR is that the students aren't making money in Real Estate. It's one of their dilemas. Incidentally, she's trying to figure out how to make money off of each RE transaction of NR students and how to get them to buy more RE educational material AFTER they've already spent $15K. That, my friend, seems criminal.

I never said they weren't a good company...good companies make money. I do feel that they're an unethical one.

Note: I sent private messages to each of the users mentioned above, inviting them to respond to the questions I posed. Neither have done so. I suppose their silence has spoken. [ Edited by hibby76 on Date 05/17/2004 ]

The next "PLANT" from this outfit that comes on this board and makes a post is going to the TCI jail.

I just deleted one post giving a phone number to call to claim your pot of gold, so cut the advertising, you really don't want to test me and see if I am serious.

This is by no means and endorsement.
I was exposed to the company as well and there seem to be some interesting "perks" to being a partner. Beyond the real estate education, newsletters, etc., they have a program that allows members to buy properties online. The leg work of finding and setting up the deal is handled by NR. Each property has it's own strategy and while expensive this makes it easy for any newbie to quench the desire to aquire.

  • hibby7622nd July, 2004

FYI....The Nouveau Riche commissions are 70% per sale. If you really want to become involved, offer to buy the product from a Nouveau Riche rep for 30% of the retail cost PLUS $200. If he doesn't like it, go to the next one. It's a free $200 to them. The $15,000 price tag drops to $4,500.

I guess I'll have to fully investigate this myself, but based on Hibby's review and other comments here, why shouldn't I take this as an indictment of Dolf de Roos and Robert Kiyosaki and their Rich/Poor series of insperational literature?

Isn't this just another example of a guru (or wannabe gurus) setting a good precedent and then sinking to level of outright exploitation?
