  It's "traigame la cuenta porfavor" you said "bring me the check" you translated "check" literally ,"cheque" is the small rectangular paper that is used to pay, rather than with money, a check.
  So you gotta say "traigame la (cuenta)"

  in my search i still can not see anything in NJ. I did see a few homes in South NJ which are Handyman specials.
