Any Free Real Estate Forms Anywhere?
Dear Group,
Does anyone know of a website with free real estate forms available for download? I want to make a cash offer on an empty house on my street, but can't find a form anwhere.
The closest thing I could find was the Purchase-Sale Agreement at this website (listed under "Freebies", but that's more than I need.
Thanks.
Bob
that's all you need so far. put it under contract and then proceed to closing if they accept.
The closest applicable form I saw in the Freebies are was a purchase contract, wherein one party says he'll buy and the other party says he'll sell.
What I'm looking for is a simple "Offer to Buy" form, if such a form exists.

a realtor in your area could point you to obtaining forms that you could use in your area.
In florida, you can get such forms from a realtor for free if the realtor doesn't mind...you can also download them from the states website if they provide such a thing. Ask a realtor in your area, but don't be suprised if they want to represent you.
you could just draft up an L.O.I. in word, and sign it.
clearly state your proposed terms, and if it is accepted, proceed to a purchase and sale ageement.
if you need an example, let me know and ill email you a few i have used.
www.legalwhiz.com has forms on his site.
Or go to a legal stationary store and get forms that are common in your state. Make copies.
Thanks for the suggestions. I had done a google search before posting my original question, and came up empty. Most of the forms seemed to be in the format of a purchase agreement (where both the buyer and seller agree to the terms). I didn't find anything that was a pure offer form.

find a contact in your local REI group and hook up contracts with him/her. or like the above mentioned, find a realtor and get some forms from them, not only is it state legal but its also recognized all over the state as a legit form, they dont have to worry about whether its legal or what not.
