Any Drawbacks Of Becoming An Real Estate Agent And Investor
Hi All,
I was thinking of investing some time in becoming a real estate agent in Virginia. I will like to do some real estate investing too to save on some of the commissions when I buy or sell my homes for investment purposes.
Does anyone know of any disadvantages of being an agent and an investor. Just want to know all the disadvantages before I take the plunge.

you have a higher std. of duty as an agent/broker.
As a agent you have to disclose you are a agent. I was a agent before I got into investing. In the market I am in all the good deals are gone before they get onto MLS. The only time I use being a agent is selling things I buy preconstruction.
