Any Architecture / Design / Rehab People
I am thinking of specializing my LLC in architecture / interior design / rehab. I would like to purchase high end houses or houses that I can totally renovate and then sell. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to do this or any pros and cons that you can see?
Have a general contractor check it out and give you an bid of the replacement cost.
If the mold is all on the surface, the beam may not need replacing at all.
On the other hand, if there is this mold, what other mold is there.
Are there any visible signs of foundations problems (see/feel it in the floor, set a ball down and see if the floor pitches enough to cause it to roll, cracking at the corners of doors, etc.)
Perhaps with the right letter from the contractor, this is an justification to get even a better deal.
