Has anyone had any experience with this group and their mentoring club? Whats the good bad or ugly?

Thanks![ Edited by alcmaeon on Date 12/07/2004 ]

I attended their "Profitable Real Estate Investing" seminar this past Saturday. I'd say overall I liked what I saw. It was a refreshing change from all of the book and tape guru seminar's I've attended in the past. I'm starting to investigate them more myself because I'm thinking about joining their mentoring club too.

They seem to be on the up and up, I liked that they gave more concrete examples. And they do seem to be doing what they talk about.

I'm planning on attending their required Mentoring Club class in January. I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

    Hi Rich,

I used to be a member of the Mentoring Club a year ago. Robert Helms who organized the club is a great speaker. I learned about the club from real estate classes I was taking at Foothill College and Robert was teaching Appraisal class. I attended all three seminars required to join the club and I attended several club meetings. The club is good for people who has little knowledge of real estate. For me, it was boring because I knew from the classes I took at college most of what they were talking about. So, I drop the membership. I also didn't like the structure of the club: it was devided into groups and you meet with the same people all the time and listen the same stories.

    Hey Alla

    Thanks for the reply!
The club being good for people who have little knowledge of real estate is what I need, as I am just learning what is what and have cash that needs to be invested somewhere. I take it from your comment that other than being a beginner level club it was not a scam of any kind?

    Thanks!

    Rich
