Adding A Launrdy Room To A 4-plex
I spoke to a contractor about adding a laundry room onto my 4-unit building. He claims he can do the work of building the structure, electrical and plumbing for $1800, and another $1400 for equipment. It sounds too good to be true to me, but he assures me his numbers are correct.
He also says his laundry facilities bring in $200-$300 per month in revenue. Does this sound right? Although it is a large 4-unit (12 bedrooms and 7 baths), that sounds high to me.

1400 bucks for equipment must be used and well used at that.
