Absentee Bidding

There is a house that I want that is going to be auctioned off in WA State on May 28th. I live in Alaska and want to bid on this home. Does anyone know if I have to be there or if there is anything called "absentee bidding"....like in other types of auctions? Has anyone done this...or can you appoint someone else to bid on your behalf?

Any input would be helpful.

    Back when "Trustee Sales" was the game to be played many people would send their representative to the sale with a cashiers check in hand. If you cannot make it, I would contact the auctioneer and find out what paperwork they want you to fill out ahead of time so that you can send you designated representative.

    Call the trustee that represent's the legal owner, meaning bank. They'll explain you entire drill.

    Hi, it is very simple all it takes is money.

    You contact an attorney to represent you at the auction. You supply him with a Power of Attorney, Limited, a series of checks made out to the designated Trustee or Attorney appointed. Or if in doubt you can make the checks payable to the attorney. You designate your high bid and engrave it on his forehead in letters of fire. He attends and thats it. He should telephone you at completion of sale. I hate waiting. Lucius
