A Question To When I Sell
Hi,
I'm sure I've missed it somewhere, but I'm still confused as to when my tenant exercises their option to buy the house I'm leasing .... what am I doing as the "seller"... are the steps that I will be taking to sell the house to my tenant a 1031 exchange or a double closing? Is this the same thing, different?
Can anyone please give me advice?

It's through a double closing unless you have the Deed. A 1031 exchange is a tax-deferred tool of exchanging like property for like property.
