A Little Upset!

I posted a topic about how to find hardmoney lenders and thinking someone would help me out here, I received an email saying that my topic was deleted because of lender fishing. WHAT!!! Please come on, I didn't ask for a detailed list of lenders. I asked how to find them, thats all. I see those kinds of posts all over in here. I'm just a newbie just trying to get some help, thats all. Well I guess it doesn't matter, now since I found out on my own. I'm sure I'll have another question sometime soon, though grin

I know what you mean. The moderators here can be touchy about people who appear to be soliciting in one way or another. They want to keep the forum pure and solely info-based though, which is good. That you tried again suggests that you're persistent, a useful skill to have.

Look in the yellow pages for private--non-bank--mortgage lenders. They may not know the term, but they will understand the concept. There are also some lenders listed on this site, conveniently under the link for "Lenders" at the top of the page. Some wholesalers (those organized as companies that buy and flip courthouse/sheriff's sale foreclosures) have handy in house loans for their properties, ask them too.

The of course, there's always 'fast Tony," out at the track...

Local newspapers, and of course your local banker buy him lunch explain what you are doing he will probably sic a few of the banks big time depositers who are fed up with low yields. You might try Nate and Al's restaurant in Beverly Hills just walk in turn right go to the wall and sit down all the elderly lenders hang out there in the morning for coffee. Go to the foreclosure sales pass a card around ask their names shake their hands, count your fingers and bit by bit you will build a list of them. Then it is up to you. They can be a handfull talk about greed.
But they crave action and they are growing old and their money is all most of them have to show. So use it.

    REI-
Forget about the Hardmoney.... Too expensive. Put an add in your local paper:

"Tired Of The Stock Market, Real-Estate Investor With Proven Track Record looking For Investors Who Want To Make 12% Secured By A First Trust Deed"

    Your phone will blow up!

Meet with them, find out who the players are and offer them 10-12% interest... If you have to pay a point or two, it is still cheaper than hard money.

    Best Regards,
    Jeff Adam

I do not know the details of your post, but TCI rules are LENDER FISHING I need financing for... (Use the Lender Finder tool. It's FREE)

Rules do help in making this forum a great place to learn.

I have even had post removed!

Let's just keep working together to make TCI even a better place.
