A Better Suggestion

I might pose another way to look at Marketing yourself to Realtors.
Instead of sending a form letter (which almost everyone does), to all of the Agencies I suggest you get the local directory and find an agent at the company to work with. I meet local agents through civic clubs, The Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations, in an enviroment like that they are more open to discuss what you are trying to do over just dropping them a note. I have even looked through the directory and picked out which agent I would like to work with, I am a member of Rotary which is an EXCELLENT club that meets once a week, our course I visit other clubs in areas I want to invest in and get to know agents there.

You can NEVER have to many contacts ! When I want to move outside and network with other clubs I simply just go to one of their meetings with a friend, they introduce you at the meeting and you get instant attention.
I have found that I like to stick with one buying agent as she has learned my style and how I like to purchase, but you will want to keep at least 1 good contact with an agent with each company. We have about 12 companies in my area. They let me know when they see properties that may be of interest to me.
Hope this tip is helpful
