3 Day Notice Without A Last Name In Florida

Can I legally serve a 3 Day Notice in Florida without the last name of the tenant? Prior owner was completely disorganized and this tenant is 3 months behind. No leases, no security deposits, etc etc.

Great idea, Tanya. I just drove down and knocked on the door and got the name today. Wow, how creative.

Tuesday she gets a 3 Day Notice.

So "John Doe and other residents" works?

I have used "DOES I through X" and "all tenants in possession".

thank you for your input, i just wanted to make sure that my lienency was a smart "velvet glove" approach that would get results rather than causing more problems than it is worth. I believe that they want to pay their rent and have been unable to meet the deadlines. Inotherwords I wanted to be soft out of foresight not inexperiance.
