1099 Form For Profit Paid To Associate

I have a tax question. I need to issue a 1099 form to an associate who (unofficially)partnered on a deal with me. I'm unsure as to which 1099 form to issue him and where I can get the form. Please help. This is the first year I've had to do this.
Thanks a bunch

I was not aware that a person would have to issue a 1099 to a person who, for example, provides financial backing. I've always thought that I could just deduct that as a business expense...
    Would someone please clarify?

Your tax professional should be able to handle it for you, though, officially, Jan. 31th was the deadline for having them mailed out.
