1031 Exchange On A Vacant Lot
Hello All !
A partner and I are selling a vacant lot in the next month or so. We want to do an exchange from this lot into a SFR or duplex. I am just starting to learn about exchanges, my question is does land have any special rules in an exchange or do the same rules apply to any investment property ?

There are no exchange rules unique to land. As long as you satisfy the basic requirements of the exchange, your land is eligible to participate in an exchange as the relinquished property.
